Solution Description

These Eclipse-Features add dictionaries for the German language (Deutsch). If you are using Eclipse for Java development you have to use the version for JDT, but if you are developing in C++, you have to use the CDT version. In case you install the wrong version the full other development environment will be installed.

There is a problem with character encoding. No idea if this is due to the provided dictionary or an eclipse problem. But If I have a text that is UTF-8 encoded, a spelling error is shown wherever a special character (äöü) etc. is used, and the popup proposes to replace this with a 8859-1 encoded word.
