This is an Eclipse plugin that adds commands to cut and copy a complete line or the selected text, depending on the selection. If there is no text selected then the complete line is cut / copied. Otherwise the selected text is cut / copied as usual.
Thus, you can use CTRL+X to cut a line or the selected text.
Similarly, you can use CTRL+C to copy a line or the selected text.

NOTE:
This plugin requires JDK 11 or newer. You can configure the Java VM that is used by Eclipse using the -vm option in eclipse.ini file, which is explained here.

Are you using JDK11 or newer to run Eclipse? JDK8 will not work.
