IDE Intruders game - a Checkout for Eclipse demo

This plugin includes a mini game called IDE Intruders that serves as a demo to test the Checkout for Eclipse. Yatta Checkout is an ecommerce system that helps vendors sell software products and provides developers access to developer tools—right from within the Eclipse IDE.

Playing IDE Intruders

After installing the plugin, the game is locked until you get a demo license. To access IDE Intruders, create an account (or sign in) and use the Checkout for Eclipse to demo-purchase (one-time or subscription) the game.

You can reset the demo as many times as you want. And you can play IDE Intruders (and fight bugs) for as long as you want.

By the way, IDE Intruders is used here as a sample product for the Checkout for Eclipse, but the game itself is open source and free of charge. The source code is available on GitHub: https://github.com/YattaSolutions/de.yatta.ide-intruders-game

Testing the Checkout for Eclipse

Simply follow the instructions in the demo - the Checkout should be self-explanatory. Features include:

  • In-app purchases: Test one-time purchases as well as monthly and annual subscriptions
  • Payments: The Checkout provides various payment options; test credit card, direct debit, SEPA and PayPal payments with the provided demo user data; the demo’s currency depends on your location (Note: No real payments or purchases are made in the demo.)
  • Invoicing and billing: Automated invoicing and VAT calculation is included; take a look at the sample invoice after completing your demo purchase
  • License framework: EULA templates for various licensing & pricing models are included; you will find a Terms of Use template in the demo
  • Access management: After purchasing a valid license, the Checkout provides you with access to the game IDE Intruders
  • Reset demo: You can reset the demo and test the Checkout as many times as you want

Enjoy the streamlined purchase experience of the Checkout - and have fun playing IDE Intruders!

For software vendors

Yatta Checkout for Eclipse is designed and built to help you monetize and sell products (e.g., plugins, frameworks, libraries, SaaS and more) to millions of Eclipse users—and provide developers access to better and more tooling.
