Details

EMF To Graphviz (emf2gv) allows to generate a graphical representation of an EMF model (using GraphViz utility).

It may be considered as a lightweight readonly alternative to GMF.

It is designed to be usable with any EMF model and includes validation indicators on the generated diagram (errors/warnings).

Emf2gv can become really useful to quickly make an audit of an EMF model, especially when the the model has a lot of non containment references that are not shown in the default tree editor generated by EMF (the default tree editor is good to visualize the containment references as the tree is based on them, but other references are harder to apprehend).

Emf2gv can also be used in a standalone application (standard JVM, JEE container, continuous integration, ...)
