Trac is an enhanced wiki and issue tracking system for software development projects. Trac uses a minimalistic approach to web-based software project management.
The Mylyn Trac Connector provides Eclipse integration for accessing Trac issues including offline editing and access to attachments. Connection to the repository is supported through Trac's XML-RPC Plugin (recommended) or through the web-interface (limited).
Supported Trac versions: 0.11, 0.12.

Workaround for latest Eclipse and Mylyn (4.2.0)

Mylyn 4.2.0 does not come with a Trac connector, but you can use the one from Mylyn 4.0.0:
The update will successfully install the connector and it works. That' what I did and am running with.
Not available for latest version of Eclipse

I tried now several times to install this plugin, but as someone else mentioned Eclipse wants to downgrade all of Mylyn... and then still takes a version older than 4.0.0 which seems to be the latest.
I have years(!) of data in Trac that is connected to the work I do using Eclipse.
Basically I started this with the first Mylyn version that had a Trac connector.
Now what do I do?

I tried installing in eclipse 2023-12 but to be compatible eclipse wants to uninstall much of mylyn. I have happily used this connector in earlier versions of eclipse.
