The goal of this plug-in is to give Eclipse users the ability to reduce the amount of personal information that they are leaking when interacting with the Git version control system.
This plug-in allows you to redate the time stamps associated with Git commits.
This way you don't leak your working hour patterns to anyone on the internet.Functionalities provided by this plug-in
- redate new commits based on a fixed pattern
- redate new commits based on a acceptable time window
- redate existing commits
- save original commit dates in encrypted form
- view decrypted original commit dates
- redact email addresses

INFO: Windows users must use Cygwin, otherwise JGit doesn't support Git hooks and some functionality of the plug-in won't work.
