DoodleDebug allows to graphically visualize objects directly from calls inside Java code. It’s basic usage works similar to Java’s widely used System.out.println() in order to keep this simplicity and flexibility and support quick debugging. But DoodleDebug takes on the known problems of Sysout and tries to eliminate them by exchanging the console by a much more powerful html output and two layers of possible hook-ins by programmers to customize their output, depending on the complexity of their desired visualization.
