Solution Description

Kubernetes manifest file editor

Features

  •  Autocomplete in manifest files
  •  Error markers for YAML syntax errors and some Kubernetes semantic errors

Usage

Double click on .yml or .yaml files should open the file with Kubernetes Manifest editor. If you have other editors associated with yaml files, you should:
Right click on yaml file -> Open with -> Kubernetes manifest editor

Notes

  • YAML editor part is based on YEdit plugin, documentation is generated from Kubernetes' swagger.json file.
  • Default color scheme looks better with dark plugin
  • You can find the source on GitHub kube-editor
