With MailSnag, you can debug application generated emails within Eclipse. MailSnag creates a simple SMTP server to capture and inspect emails sent out by an application during development. You can view the email rendered as HTML, text or both. You can also view the raw data, embedded content and attachments.

The project utilizes JavaMail 1.4 to parse emails. It has currently been tested with Outlook 2007, Evolution, Thunderbird and JavaMail generated emails. I used an online translator to enable German, French, Portuguese and other localizations of the plugin - I apologize if anything is misrepresented or even offensive! Please let me know and I'll update it accordingly.

Support languages: English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

Released as version 1.0.0 that includes for support for multiple messages per SMTP connection and popup notification on new messages. The popup is enabled by default but can be disabled within the preferences.

Support for 3.4 has been dropped.
