Unlike the Eclipse plugin being development by Atlassian and other parties, JiraBuddy isn't meant to be a full-fledged replacement to create or update JIRA bugs in Eclipse. Rather, JiraBuddy was created to add various enhancements within Eclipse in order to make JIRA more useful and helpful to developers.One of those features is the "Hover Info" which displays the JIRA issue information as a hover text when the cursor is placed over a JIRA issue key just like javadoc tooltips.
