OSX Lion supports 'full screen' mode, in which all other windows are pushed to different desktops. Eclipse Indigo does not support this out of the box (yet) so this plugin will enable a full-screen icon to be shown at the top-right of the screen.

The latest version adds ESC to move back to non-full-screen mode. You can also move the mouse to the top-right of the screen, the menu will re-appear and you can toggle the full-screen mode off. (Or use the Window - Toggle Full Screen menu item.)

Note that this will only have any effect on OSX Lion systems. It will have no effect on pre-Lion systems and will not install on non-Mac platforms.

Awesome enhancement for Lion users

Full-screen is one of my favorite new features for Mac OS X Lion - actually one of my favorite features of any OS in years - and since Eclipse-based IDEs are so information-dense, fullscreen really helps Eclipse on laptop-sized screens where you just don't have that many pixels.

I'm so glad Alex got this working early prior to its inclusion in Eclipse 3.8. I use it literally every day and only run in full-screen mode when working on my laptop.

Thanks much Alex!

some trouble with eclipse modelling; otherwise works well

I was looking forward to this one; but when installing it into eclipse 3.7 modelling it started downloading a bunch of helios dependencies?

installing it into a normal Java eclipse has it a bit happier thanks muchly!
