PawSQL for DBeaver brings PawSQL's intelligent SQL optimization engine into your favorite database tool. With one click from the SQL editor you analyze the statement under the cursor and get actionable, structured advice to make it faster — without ever leaving DBeaver.

Features

• One-click optimization — optimize the current statement from the SQL editor toolbar (next to "Explain Plan") or the editor's context menu; a text selection is used automatically when present.
• What-If performance validation — see how much faster a query would run before actually creating any index. Verified gains are highlighted and labeled "verified performance gain"; unverified ones are labeled "estimated gain".
• Pre-execution SQL Review — optionally review every statement before it runs. Rule violations are evaluated against a configurable interception level (Critical / Warning / Hint); risky statements show a red warning bar and require explicit confirmation to proceed, and an unconfirmed execution is cancelled automatically after one minute.
• Review whitelist — skip review for a comma-separated list of data sources.
• Anonymous mode — no registration required: pick your database type and run structural analysis with no workspace and no DDL.

Installation

Install from the PawSQL p2 update site via Help → Install New Software, or drop the bundle jar into DBeaver's plugins folder. See the plugin documentation for step-by-step instructions.
