Consulting Description:

SemaVis-SmiVi is a ready-to-use Semantics Visualization Client for SMILA – Unified Information Access Architecture. With SemaVis-SmiVi information and knowledge which is managed and processed by the SMILA Framework can be visualized in a user- and task-oriented way. SemaVis-SmiVi provides a cost and time-efficient solution for imparting and presenting the collected and recalculated SMILA data.

SemaVis-SmiVi is based on SemaVis Framework, developed by the Fraunhofer IGD (Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD). It supports heterogeneous users, usage-scenarios and data-formats. An integrated layer-model enables the adaptation of the visualization parameterizations as well as the visualization types to users’ behavior, data characteristics and processes. With different application interfaces (API) SemaVis supports the integration in other applications.
