Edgely Console

Edgely Console puts your servers inside the IDE: SSH terminals, SFTP and FTP/FTPS browsing, local and remote Docker management, and a credential vault backed by Eclipse Equinox Secure Storage.

Every view one click away. An Edgely group on the main toolbar opens Connections, Edgely SSH, SFTP, FTP, Docker and the vault, and Quick Connect. Each SSH, SFTP and FTP session has a tab of its own, with a close button.

Remote Docker, first-class. Connect to daemons over TCP+TLS, ssh://, or the ~/.docker/contexts/ entries you already have. Client certificates are pre-flighted before dialling, pair match and expiry, so a bad certificate names itself instead of failing as an opaque handshake error. A state-machine reconnect controller recovers transparently from a daemon restart, with adaptive polling under high round-trip latency.

Credentials stay in the OS keystore. Passwords, SSH keys and API tokens go through Equinox Secure Storage. Encrypted vault export uses AES-256-GCM with a 600,000-iteration PBKDF2 derivation, so a leaked export file is useless without the password.

The same connections, in every IDE. Connection JSON is interchangeable with the VS Code, IntelliJ and NetBeans editions: export from one, import into another.

Free, forever. No paid tier, no trial, no feature gates. An Edgely account is optional and only enables syncing preferences between IDEs.
