The plugin is not usable because of the "C:/Users/Admin/AppData/Roaming/npm/ng.cmd' is not a ng file" issue with the latest version of angular-cli
The issue is known for more than 8 months (github angelozerr/angular-eclipse/issues/107) but not addressed... looks like the project is not really maintained

I am new to Angular2 but an experienced Java on eclipse env. This is a wonderfull plugin, helps us a lot.
Following the instruction, I have dragged and droppped the "install" button to have the angular2 feature installed in my eclipse-oxygen.
I ran npm install and npm start and got my existing application built and deployed on nodejs. Works as expected.
I had one more query: How can I bundle the application and run outside eclipse, deployed on any server. If you can provide a link on this, will be very useful.

I have installed snapshot 1.4 on Spring Tool Suite (built on Oxygen) and it works well so far, creating projects is easy and the ng build and serve commands work well. One issue was in creating a service with the flat and spec boxes check the create hung but I created the service in its own folder and it worked fine, no problems.
I really appreciate your efforts, thanks.

If I'd wanted to cripple the Eclipse "find" tool, I would have installed a "Cripple the find tool" package -- not something called "Angular".
And uninstalling your app didn't fix the problem -- I just had to reinstall Eclipse.
Do you have any competitors who respect a long-time Eclipse user's desire to not have the essential editor features change just so he can use a new language?

I have renamed the marketplace from angular2 to angular, because it supports too angular4, angular5, etc.
You can install it with this marketplace (it will install 1.3.0). If you wish the not released version (1.4.0-SNAPSHOT) you can do it with update site https://github.com/angelozerr/angular-eclipse/wiki/Installation-Update-S...

Same issue than https://github.com/angelozerr/typescript.java/issues/190 If you install 1.4.0-SNAPSHOT with update site (see https://github.com/angelozerr/angular-eclipse/wiki/Installation-Update-Site), this problem should disapear.

I get typescript error messages in html files. Almost all tags are red underligned and marked as errors.
How to avoid that?
Submitted by azerr on Tue, 2017-07-25 07:54
Your problem is because angular/@language-service is not very well integrated
I'm waiting for TypeScript fixes (see https://github.com/angular/vscode-ng-language-service/issues/43#issuecom...) to fix this problem. But you can fix this problem at hand by following https://github.com/angelozerr/angular-eclipse/issues/97#issuecomment-314...

This has many nice features for creating angular code and testing it, however, I'm losing my HTML intellisense after loading the plug-in.

Please note that init (ng init) is no longer supported by the latest version of angular-cli. Both versions of the plugin don't work any longer. There is always an error during project creation.

Dude, if this is a requirement to create Angualr2 projects, at least included as part of the installation process.
Everyone: Before creating an Angular2 project, be sure to do the following in a cmd window...
npm install -g angular-cli
Obviously, you must have nodejs installed.
Submitted by azerr on Wed, 2017-03-01 14:39
The 1.2.0 that you can install for the moment with Update Site https://github.com/angelozerr/angular2-eclipse/wiki/Installation-Update-... should fix this problem.

I've just installed Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers Neon.1 Release (4.6.1) and Angular2 Eclipse. I tried to create an Angular2 project but the console shows:
"ng" non Š riconosciuto come comando interno o esterno,
un programma eseguibile o un file batch.
that means that ng was not found.
Where I'm wrong?

Yes, I did. But I solved this problem installing new node.js v6.7.0. For some reason, previous version v6.2.2 didn't suceed executing command npm install -g angular-cli.
