The Spring Tool Suite™ (STS) provides the best Eclipse-powered development environment for building Spring-powered enterprise applications. STS supplies tools for all of the latest enterprise Java and Spring, and comes on top of the latest Eclipse releases.

Included with STS is the developer edition of vFabric tc Server, the drop-in replacement for Apache Tomcat that’s optimized for Spring. STS is the best Eclipse distribution

STS is currently IMHO the best Eclipse distribution, that come with the latest Maven.
It also comes as based on Eclipse 4.2 or Eclipse 3.8. The second being more responsive and quicker.
It is the only distribution (that I know) that has Eclipse 3.8 option.
