Gas3 and its Eclipse builder frontend is an ActionScript3 code generation tool specifically designed to simplify and accelerate Flex developments with the open source Granite Data Services J2EE framework.

It relies on Groovy templates and, basically, by introspecting a set of Java classes, it creates their ActionScript3 equivalents. Integration with Eclipse allows the use of the gas3 Ant task in your build.xml files and the configuration of a specific builder that transparently generates ActionScript3 classes whenever Java classes are created or modified.
