Getting Software for Your Catalog Is Just a Click Away.
Finally, you will no longer have to wait around for your system administrator to install the packs you need. Instead, simply install all the packs you need right from your SDC Admin Console. Now you control your own destiny with the latest Eclipse versions, popular plug-ins, and your favorite software as soon as they’re available.
In your SDC Admin Console, simply click “Get Packs” from any of the Secure Packages or Software Collections pages to start integrating the packs you need. It’s as simple as that.
Simple is as simple does. Freely get your Eclipse (any version), the plug-ins, and everything you need from the cloud. In fact, kick Eclipse to the cloud!
Why you ask?
The cloud backs up your specific configuration. Maybe you use different machines, maybe you’re a contractor, and maybe you’re just careful. Save and archive it in the cloud.
Sharing is caring. Starting a new project and you’re the team lead? Set up the exact Eclipse and plug-in configuration in the cloud to start all your team members off on the right foot. No broken builds later on – you’re in control. Or maybe you’re getting a new team member started – skip the wikis, email chains, and zip files. Send a sharable URL to your team so they can download exactly what you have in mind for each project.
There’s more to love:
• Switch your Eclipse's major version across yearly release trains.
• Backup your Eclipse software add-ons and workspace settings for simple recovery.
• Share your Eclipse Java or other IDE with your team for simple team efficiency.
• Use MyEclipse IDE, SpringSource Tools Suite and other favorite IDEs with ease.
• Choose software from Cloud Connect's certified popular plug-ins.
All is available for free from Cloud Connect. Get started today with your first step to efficient Cloud Development!

Application Development Trends Magazine has a nice write-up about Cloud Connect as the natural path with Eclipse in the cloud.
"The newly expanded SDC Cloud Connect provides Java developers with a way to make their existing, already customized Eclipse packages available in the cloud. The company is calling it "a natural path" to an environment in which sharable Eclipse packages can be synchronized and updated easily within dev teams, even eliminating the need for wiki pages. Eclipse Java configurations and packages can also be backed up and archived on the Genuitec-hosted cloud, making it possible to rollback or update major version changes."
