Submitted by Stephane Lauriere on Fri, 2015-08-28 04:48

Thank you Kenichi, I've installed v3.13.0 indeed. I can now commit a file with local modifications. I can't commit a folder though (a Not implemented message error shows up). Also, I can't manage to push a commit to the WebDAV server: the context menus in the synchronize or resource perspectives will only propose the following actions: Update, Commit, Synchronize with repository, Override and update. Nothing like Push there. Or should I proceed differently?
Thank you,
Regards,

It seems that there is a bug

Submitted by Kenichi Fukuda on Sat, 2015-08-29 01:24

Hi Stephane, Thank you for your feedback.
Please try the following steps:-

  1. Right-click on project or folder in the Project Explorer and select "Team > Synchronize with Repository".
  2. The changes are shown in the "Synchronize View".
  3. Right-click on folder in the Synchronize View and select "Commit".
  4. The changes in the folder will be uploaded to the WebDAV server.

Thank you,
Kenichi

Read-write mode question

Submitted by Stephane Lauriere on Thu, 2015-08-13 17:33

The extension looks great but it won't let me modify text files over WebDAV: when opening a text resource from a WebDAV location, the temporary file that gets generated by MintJams in the /tmp/ folder is in read-only mode on the file system. Is it supposed to work this way or is the solution meant to support file edition and update ?

My environment : Eclipse 4.5, OpenJDK 7, Ubuntu 15.

Thank you!

Only checked-out documents can be modified

Submitted by Kenichi Fukuda on Fri, 2015-08-14 12:44

Hi Stephane,
Yes, documents on WebDAV storage are read-only. All checked-out documents in the workspace are writable (can be modified).

* Right click on the WebDAV folder, and select "Team > Check out".

Thanks!
Kenichi

Hi Kenichi, Many thanks for your answer. I won't get any right-click menu though, neither from the "Content Management > Resource Browser View" when hitting a WebDAV folder, nor from the Storage View. I've uploaded a capture of my workspace in case it can help clarifying the issue: //imagebin.ca/v/2C9UeKS3wuYp
Thank you!

Thank you for uploading

Submitted by Kenichi Fukuda on Thu, 2015-08-20 14:54

Right-click, takes a long time for the context-menu to appear.
Environment: Eclipse 4.5, OpenJDK 7, Ubuntu 15.
Thanks!
Kenichi

OK now I can see the menu

Submitted by Stephane Lauriere on Fri, 2015-08-21 06:16

OK now I can see the menu indeed, thank you! I can then successfully checkout a folder into my workspace and update a file. However, when trying to commit the modified file, I get the following error message without further information: "Method not allowed". Any idea on getting around this issue? Thanks a lot.
