What is the difference to Ctrl3?
Submitted by Michael.Scharf@WindRiver.com on Wed, 2011-12-14 08:48
I installed it and it seems to be similar to the functionality of the Ctrl-3 command.
The major difference it that it shows commands before the user types.

Olive is a lightweight alternative to Eclipses Quick Assist feature, if you will.
However, unlike the Quick Assist feature, the actions Olive displays are "mined" (only) from the context menu, therefore it displays only the actions that apply to the current selection. Ctrl+3 is unable to trigger some of these actions (for example the "Commit..." action from Subclipse), while at the same time it displays actions that do not apply to the current selection.
We would be really interested in any suggestions on how to enhance Olive. You can write to us at office at intooitus dot com.
